Pilates Mat Apprenticeship:
Pilates Matwork is the "core" of the Pilates system of exercise. Without thorough knowledge not only of the exercises, but of the purpose behind each movement, it's principles, and appropriate transitions, Pilates can become just another group of simple movements done on a mat. - Friday, Sept 16th 6-8pm
- Saturday, Sept 17th 10 am - 5:30 pm
- Sunday, Sept 18th 11 am - 5 pm
*Please note that a MINIMUM 10 hours of in-studio experience (mat-classes and/or Pilates sessions) are required before acceptance in to apprenticeship program.

Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Apprenticeship
There are over 500 different exercises that can be performed on the Classical Pilates equipment. k Pilates produces teachers that are well-versed in all of the classically-based exercises, and we train our instructors just as Joseph Pilates himself trained his protege, Romana Kryzanowska. The teacher apprenticeship program is a modular system breaking down all exercises on the Pilates equipment in to basic, intermediate, and advanced series. This full program covers not just the exercises and order themselves, but also anatomy and how it relates to Pilates, their compenents, teaching safety, and modifications for special populations. Apprentices who complete this program are also eligible to sit for the Pilates Method Alliance certification exam in order to achieve national recognition for their knowledge and training.

- Intermediate Lecture: January 6th/7th, 2012
